The Annual Otampa Football Tournament, 2023/2024 edition has ended and winners emerged. We present to you some highlights of the closing ceremony, in particular the award presentation in pictures. We do so in no particular order.

Before presenting the pictures we wish to make some clarifications, strengthen and update your knowledge about Otampa.

Before now we brought a report that Otampa is located in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, South-east Nigeria. Many people from other parts of Igbo Land where Otampa is located know and address the Otampa and Isuikwuato people as “Ndi Nwanneukwu”.

In case you are wondering why they do that the reason is not farfetched. To the average Otampa and as a matter of fact Isuikwuato Sons and Daughters generally, apart from the human being which the people of Otampa and Isuikwuato underscore as big, every other thing on the surface of the earth is small or little.

In view of the above therefore, if you have seen or in the future come across them (Ndi Nwanneukwu) and they demonstrate overwhelmingly unalloyed attachment, undivided interest, passion and value for the human at the expense of your so much valued assets, please bear with them. It is not that the Nwanneukwus do not appreciate, regard or reckon with you about your so called highly prized assets and possessions, the fact is Ndi Nwanneukwu are trained to place value, over and above, your millions, and/or Naira, Dollar, Euro worth of Assets, no matter how lowly placed or ranking the society placed such humans. Nothing in life should equate, worth or rank close to the humans in Otampa and Isuikwuato as a whole.

Now that you know better, you can understand why the Nwanneukwus are different and why you must join them to appreciate what the pictures below mean, represent and stand for, as far as the Nwanneukwus are concerned.

As we now present the pictures, please note that the Umuahia Branch won the tournament cup donated by Engineer Chike Onya, a noble Son of Otampa based in the United States of America (USA) who doubles as the National Chairman of the Echiele Development Union, a community builder and developer of his people.
