Rita Ngozi Oshili, is a young, smart and hard-working young Nigerian lady, based in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
Rita is a passionate lover of children and ardent believer that the child is on a higher call for positive impact and transformation.
Her activities with regard to children speak volume, considering that she is in particular working hard not only to impact the children, but to raise a sustainable structure with a formidable network of people whose interest are centered on achieving massive results that are of benefit to the children now and in the future".
The above stated, in addition to the various trainings that Rita offers the children that interface with her and her programmes are huge benefits to the society. The various forms of capacity building opportunities that the growing list of people that work with her, majorly as volunteers are exposed to regularly, and targeted principally at putting them in proper shape to be able to deliver on their tasks are other benefits that accrue to the society from the operations and activities of Rita. Her focus is to draw out the hidden potential in the child.
Rita's skills and abilities, exposure and experience, acquired, nurtured and developed over the years, when considered alongside her committed efforts and passionate disposition to always volunteer in her area of calling, in most cases without counting cost or return, is amazing and thought provoking.
Viewed fundamentally, what readily comes to the mind of keen observers and lovers of the society regarding the noteworthy, positive, long term benefits that accrue to the children, families and the society, as a function of the present role and activities of Rita is partly a society that is less pressured if not totally free from kidnapping, banditry robbery and Yahoo activities, incessant attack of innocent people and their communities, child trafficking, baby Mama's, prostitution and separated homes, unemployment, high school dropouts and drug related activities.
Those destructive, debilitating and condemnable activities that the efforts of Rita are trying to checkmate, and in their place throw up a generation of hardworking, technology savvy world record breakers and sound achievers in almost every facet of human endeavours are here underscored.
Though hardly is Rita and her likes reckoned with by the society, even when it is common knowledge that it is mostly very difficult to identify among her mates, many that are ready to do what she is doing.
Undisputable is the fact that Rita's attributes are genuinely in tandem with growth and development vision and impact driven children-centered agenda, life-building and life-support mission of most, if not all that promote and advocate seriously community engagement and sustainable development initiatives, reason she deserves the support and encouragement of all well meaning individuals, Institutions band groups to in addition to advancing her vision and spread her activities beyond the present scope, touch more lives.
Rita's child-oriented products and services are valuable addition to her well intended support programmes and activities in multiple ways. Her interest, passion and commitment to her calling, to what she does as her work, if supported by all and sundry, would enable her obviously exciting and enticing programmes, relationship styles and delivery methods and approaches which guarantee the success of her vision, will be celebrated in diverse ways as much lives will be impacted.
Her choice and pattern of life, indeed her commitment to rescuing the poorly groomed children and redirecting their life for a better and more secure bfuture, while also striving to ensure that more children do not derail, Rita stands tall as a huge benefit to the children, families and the society.
Her active role in her chosed assignment in life, among which is saving the child, family and society from ignorance and impending doom, Rita has no doubt set herself apart from the lot, and invariably placed herself up on a vintage position where she deserves to be seen and presented as a figure to watch, admire and emulate, a role model of sort by her generation.
From the first time she appeared in the public domain and has remained actively involved, she has practically injected some of her impact oriented, change-driven, ideas engineering activities designed to improve some identified non-performing, outdated and non-productive methodologies adopted by some parents that work against proper grooming, nurturing, training and upbringing of children.
Her efforts at contributing to the collective agenda of regigging the system to improve the content and approaches adopted by most homes towards developing their children has exposed Rita to a number of noble ideas that she is engaging with, consistently and systematically. She is equally struggling very hard to also help other people to understand and deploy same in their activities.
With her compassionate team of child focused individuals, bent on growing, expanding and extending the reach of their programme and the direct and indirect beneficiaries, more children, parents and schools, teachers and volunteers were attracted into the vision, when they rose recently, to inspire and motivate their usual target: parents, guardians and children by setting up an age appropriate, functionally-oriented and competency driven, action packed, learner friendly event.
The programme was hosted in Jos, in the right environment and with the suitable materials. It was spiced with fun and different entertaining educational games, and experiential learning activities designed for the benefit of both the vulnerable and non-vulnerable children that the weekend event attracted.
The parents and guardians that were at the event to support, motivate and inspire the children rated and scored the event very high, and described it as exciting, captivating and inspiring for them as parents and guardians. Most of the people noted that is was indeed, an eye opening programme for them.
Rita Ngozi Oshili's recent outing is a "Spelling Bee Competition" that held in Jos, the Plateau state capital, North Central Nigeria. The Event that took place in August, Saturday, 23, 2025 attracted 52 competitors from the 25 schools that participated. More than 52 competitors registered and actively prepared for the event, but some were unavoidably absent at the event proper.
Various prizes were won and special certificate of recognition issued to the children at the event.
Cultural Anthropology for the Growing Child is another fast rising programme that Rita Ngozi Oshili puts together for children. Many families are already embracing the programme and testifying about the benefits to the children and themselves as adults.
