WHAT DROVE US INTO BUSINESS, RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING BUSINESS AS ONE MAN SHOW... MSMEs

Dearies, recall that in earlier publication, two attributes of the MSMEs that operate under the Micro segment were raised. Apart from representing Micro business operators as enterprising people, you were told they run their business as "One Man Show". 

In a later publication, we noted that most of the MSME operators that reached out to us through phone calls, confirmed that the "one man show" attribute associated or ascribed to them is real. From the east, west, north and south of Nigeria, the story is same. Male and female Micro business owners exhibit that as a trait. They operate as one man show.

In a previous post, one of the four letters that made up the four letters in MSMEs, the first "M" representing Micro segment of the Enterprises was briefly discussed. In that post the Micro business operators were described not as entrepreneurs but enterprising people.

Early in the year 2022, we made a post in this platform informing you dear esteemed reader, our success partner and indeed the reason we are in business on this platform, that our activities in the year 2022, shall focus on developing the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, otherwise known as MSMEs.

In 2022, we put it to you boldly in your face... We won't allow tiredness, criticism or any other excuses deter you from achieving your goals. Our self-imposed mandate this year is to transform both the willing and unwilling MSMEs into a life of massive productivity, increased customer base and excellent service delivery, supported with high quality products.

Growing of local Micro businesses is high in our list of activities. To do this we shall via a lot into business enabling environment issues, engage in building linkage and Networking structures, and help MSMEs put up sound structures to enable them drive effectively with opportunities and strengthening activities designed towards meeting our objective of this year. We will not rest without helping the MSMEs, draw up their own programmes and follow their plans religiously.
