Goose pimple, the effect of shock, that arose from the narrative of some people that cared enough to put a call across to me as response to my previous post, on this platform, which of course relate to the one you're reading, in a way has prompted me to do a follow up. 

STRENGTHENING DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND FIRST AID SKILLS OF CHILDREN IN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS: KEY TO BUILDING RESILIENT CITIZENS AND COMMUNITIES

 

Schools, in particular, Primary and Secondary, are essentially, where ideas, skills and values of common interest to the society are sown, in the early days of a child’s development in education. The formalized nurturing processes that expose the growing child to the outer world, through a structured strategy of building the mind and feeding the brain with knowledge: thinking, orientation and values, approved and mutually accepted and believed to be vital to the life of the child, take root in the school.

UNDERSTAND THE LAWS, THE POLICIES, AND MONITOR PERFORMANCE OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR INSTITUTIONS IN YOUR LINE OF ACTIVITY, MSMEs

 

MSMEs, in Nigeria, as a matter of fact, must imbibe the honoured culture of accessing and studying in detail relevant documents: the Laws that established relevant public institutions, and the policy instruments, that set out their specific mandates, and modus operandi. 

ROUTE FOR THE ENTREPRENEURS, THE LONG ELUSIVE JOBS ARE IN THEIR KITTY

 

Monumental results attain efforts that are reinforced. Similarly, actors that work hard to attain remarkable results, are most likely to be in high spirit, and inspired to do more, and even surpass existing records notably, if appreciated and rewarded appropriately, MSMEs/Entrepreneurs, inclusive.

Achievement recognization, celebrates and dignifies the achievers, attract other people to what they do, and inspire more people to achieve.

ENCOURAGE THE MSMEs AND LEND YOUR VOICE FOR PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT

In almost all our publications this year, we have consistently re-affirmed our decision to migrate willing Micro business operators to the status of entrepreneurs. The idea as we already established, is to move them from their position as mere enterprising people, to a position where it is increasingly more expedient for this segment of the MSMEs to offer more to themselves and the society, create more impact and greater value to the economy.

Worthy of note, in our march to reposition the MSMEs in Nigeria, is the fact that not withstanding the level, degree or volume of business activities and transactions, or the perceived contributions of those we have classified as enterprising people (the micro business operators), in Nigeria, we wish to note that it is the entrepreneurs that build the base for real economic development.
