Today is October 1, 2023. October 1st is a remarkable day in Nigeria. For the year 2023 and the Nigerians all over the Globe, today marks the 63 years of Nigeria’s independence from colonial rule, and is celebrated nationally as “Independence Day” in Nigeria.
The Chairman, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, Lagos Chapter, Mr. Emeka Ojali, in a statement issued in Lagos and made available to us, is inviting to a crucial meeting the graduates of one of the reputed higher institutions of learning in Nigeria, the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu.
We promised to publish the profiles of prominent Artists in the “Art Meet Dance” Jos 2023 Exhibition. The first person in the list is Nkeiruka Catherine Okananwa.

An art exhibition entitled “Art Meet Dance” is currently on-stage in the City of Jos, the Plateau State capital. The painting Exhibition, with Dance as the theme, is a collaboration between the Nigerian Society of Arts (NSAs), Plateau State Chapter and the National Museum, Jos.
The “Network for Advocacy and Good Leadership Initiative (NAGLI)” strongly condemns the derogatory and misleading description of the Igbo tribe as invaders and troubleshooters in the book titled "Fundamentals of Civic Education for Basic 8 (JSS 2)," authored by Sola Akinyemi and published by Fatsoholy Ventures. This misrepresentation in “page 38” is not only offensive but also perpetuates harmful stereotypes and undermines the principles of inclusivity and unity in our nation.
The Abuja Chapter, National Alumni Association, Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, has announced her monthly physical meeting.
