The 100 steps that take the tourist climber to the ancient Settlement of the Afizere people before the incursion of the colonial masters into Nigeria and Plateau state in particular is a site to behold and an experience of a life time. The ancient Afizere settlement is seated at a hill top of 1200ft above the sea level. This provides the tourists with excellent view of Jos city and the very wonderful Shere Hills: 6001ft above the sea level.
