ISUAMAWU DEVELOPMENT UNION (IDU) CONDOLES FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THE BUILDING COLLAPSE INCIDENT IN A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN JOS

The IsuAmawu Development Union (IDU) Jos Branch, Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, is deeply saddened by the ugly incident of July 12, 2024 in the City of Jos, Plateau State, where some school children and teachers lost their lives, and others sustained various forms and degrees of injuries due to a collapsed classroom building of a private school, Saint Academy Jos.

Speaking to our reporter in Jos, the Chairman, Men's Wing of the Isuamawu Development Union, Jos Branch, Mr Nnabugwu Chizoba, who noted that the building collapse incident was a tragic and devastating event, however, urged the affected, the families of the dead to take heart and remain faithful to God, while mourning and bearing the pains of the loss of their dear, precious and lovely Sons and Daughters. He extended the words of hope to also those whose family members were injured in the building collapse incident.

When yet another pre-event art and craft exhibition held in the City of Jos, the Plateau state capital, Nigeria, the art enthusiasts that gathered to grace the event, especially, the Non-Nigerians, literally wondered if there ever will be a limit to the natural and human endowments of Nigeria. The country is so wonderfully blessed most of them must have said.

The art enthusiasts that gathered at the event venue in the scenic and captivating City of Jos, were awe stricken when the event host in his opening speech announced that the Artist, whose invitation they gathered to honour is an Electrical Engineer.
