Recently, Scoreline reported that the introductory training classes conducted for the commencement of lessons for more than 300 participants of the 6 months skills acquisition programme hosted in Jos, the Plateau state capital, has come to an end.
The introductory training classes that just ended, is part of the ongoing 6 months skills acquisition training in Film Making and Creative Media Production, designed by the African Film Institute (AFI).
AFI is implementing the skills acquisition training programme in collaboration with the federal ministry of education, Nigeria. The institute, Scoreline gathered is collaborating with the ministry through the innovative Development for Effectiveness in Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS), and Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET).
The IDEAS and TVET Programmes are initiatives of the federal government of Nigeria.
In that previous report, we also informed you, our dear esteemed reader and friend that the quality of the training, in terms of the content, the areas covered, and the depth of delivery by the resource persons, are equivalent, indeed by far more than the 6 months regular training classes of other training institutions or centers that offer similar skills acquisition trainings in Nigeria.

Easily noticeable by any genuine observer and follower of the ongoing film making and creative media production skills acquisition training in the city of Jos, is the enviable training methodology, and the unique approaches adopted by the African Film Institute in both individual and people (group) management skills and relations.

In a related development, the Institute, continuously assured the participants of the training that it will introduce more equipment during the practical phase of the skill acquisition programme.
Scoreline observed at different times and occasions during the introductory classes the amazing things AFI is doing in Plateau state, as well as its modus operandi.
The experience which was an eye opener of sort, provided major insight into what the institute has in mind and is positioning the participants of her training programme in the city of Jos to achieve through the skill acquisition programme in Film making and creative media production that the institute is conducting, in Plateau state.
